Haul: Aveeno, WnW and Maybelline

Yesterday I visited Costco to stock up on a few stuff. Since I recived my member coupon booklet a while back and I remember seeing a coupon for the Aveeno Positivly Radian moistureizer. The original price was about $20 USD and the coupon was $4 USD off which brings it down to $16 USD. If I remember right the average price of one is about $16 USD so it was like a BOGOfree :) yay me!

I found out that Rite Aid is having a 40% off sale on Wet n Wild from one of the best bloggers I know here, Nouveau Cheap. On one of her posts she explains that you can get the new WnW MegaShield Lip Color for only .79cents!! You can find that post HERE! I picked up three and they cost me last then the price of one!!! Big savings there!!! I picked up Pink Champagne, Birthday Suit and It's A Girl.

Lastly I went to Target. Beside buying a few other stuff I also picked up Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in Audacious Asphalt. I have been hearing so many good reviews about this stuff so I had to get my hands on it. I only bought one because I don't splurge as I used to and i'd reather wait for a really good sale if I do end up liking it. This way money is not wasted :) I've been into gun metal smokey looks so Audacious Asphalt stood out the most to me. Its nice and creamy and very oapue. At Target it cost me about $7 USD but since I had a Target gift card I recived from Christmas I didn't spend anything :)

In total I only spent just under $20 USD of my own money on beauty goodies. Yay!!

Review: Joico Smooth Cure Leave-in Rescue Treatment

I wrote about this product or atleast the general idea of the Smooth Cure system. You can see that post HERE.

Salon/profressional products are mostly bought through salon or professionals. But don't worry that dosnt mean its almost impossible to get your hands on them. Most independent beauty stores carry pro products but be careful! Each store varies in price and what products are being sold. You can also buy some products at CVS or Target but they can be very expensive. So do your research!! Since is do get discounts on all pro products I do not know the actual retail price (since it varies from store to store) but I can do a guess-tamate from what I've seen.

The Smoot Cure Leave-in Rescue Treatment claims that your hair will restore moisture, be less frizzy and help in restoring hairs health. This product has keratin which is basically one of the main building block of hair. The less keratin you hair has the more likey it will break. Too much keratin in your hair will cause unwanted build up in your scalp area. You really have to figure out how much your hair needs and figure out where it needs it the most. Like your ends where it tends to have most breakage.

For me in general this product was... ok. Not the greatest but it isn't so bad as well. My hair is extreamly chemically treated due to all to bleaching and coloring I do. So I need something with a high moisture rating as well as keratin. I felt this product didn't have enought for my type of hair. It may work A LOT better on someone who has virgin to not so chemically treated hair and nothing more. Don't get me wrong my hair did feel softer but at the sametime it also felt like it needed more. It felt like my hair was still thirsty.. I guess that's how you put it.

On the plus side this product did smell wonderful. It smelled like a between mixture of something fruity and something fresh. I really and not good at explaining scent but ehhh I try xp

All in all this product didn't work for me but it may work well for others.

I finally recived my 28pc neutral e/s palette today!! I bought this off of eBay for just under $7 USD with free shipping. I also bought a 28pc blush palette for the same price which you can find HERE. You can also find the link to my seller on that page as well.

The color pay off is amazing and not at all chalky. Like I said before this palette, I think, can be comparable to the Coastal Scents, BHcosmetics and other major brands. I might be buying another one to use in my makeup kit.

Haul: eBay 28pc Blush Palette

I am a big eBay shopper. I love the fact of getting great things for a much cheaper price. Before christmas I bought a few makeup palettes on eBay. A 28pc neutral e/s palette, concealer palette and this a 28pc blush palette. This palette cost me just under $7 USD plus free shipping. A steal right!?!! I've seen other palettes like this on CoastalScents and BHcosmetics for about double and you need to pay for shipping.

Most blushes are very pigmented but that's only because I only swatched only few of them. As for blendablity and staying power I actually haven't gotten around to playing with it yet. But I'm very excited to do so. I mean come on look at those pretty pinks! Plus the weekend is here so I might as well play up my makeup with brighter blush.

My Hair in 2011

Side bangs. Half golden blonde and light brown.

Cut my bangs stright.

Removed the light brown from the bottom half.

Violet and pink dip dye.

Colored the bottom half black.

Added deep red/violet to the ends and I cut my hair to a medium length.

Added more red violet.

Turned the blonde to silver grey and the bottom black.

Me today! Still silver with the bottom half black. I actually prefer this color the most. A lot of people have complemented me so I think I'm keeping this color for a while lol. xoxo, ARES

E.L.F Studio Blushes

I recived a few Target gift cards for Christmas so I figued "what the heck!" and splurge a little lol. One of the things I bought where these E.L.F Studio Blushes. I bought Mellow Mauve, Pink Passion, Fushia Fusion and Candid Coral. Each where $3 USD a pop.

The packaging reminds me so much of Nars' packaging but smaller. As the quality goes they aren't so bad. They aren't as creamy as I hoped it would be but they are also not powdery/chalky. The pigmentation is good enough to build and it blends very well. My personal favorite is Mellow Mauve. It just suits my skin tone best.

All in all I do enjoy them very much especially at just three dollars :)

The Color Institute 109pc palette

The Color Institute is of my many favorite low budget makeup brand. They are made by Markwins Internationals which is the same company that makes Wet N Wild. And we all know how great WnW is. I recived this palette for christmas from one of the many Many aunts I have on my mom's side. I nearly jumped for joy when I ripped the wrapping paper and it revealed this pretty box lol. As pigmentation and all that good stuff goes I will do a review as soon as I do enough damage to this palette ;D for now enjoy how amazing this palette looks xp

Dolly + Red Circle Lens

These are actually the first pair of circle lens I ever bought. Why red? Well the hubsters has this thing for red eyes but something more on the natural side. I know there isn't nothing natural about red but trust me not a lot of people noticed the red unless they really take a good look.

They are 14.5 diameters and has a 42% water content. Omg these are so comfortable and it feels like noting is there. I wore them for 8hrs and they felt great.

I bought them from HoneyColor.com for about $25 USD including shipping which isn't bad because I saw a few web sites that sell them for more. I actually ordered another pair which are definatly are more on the natural side hehehe.

E.L.F Holiday Sets at Target.

Today I went to my local Target in the a.m and saw that they had the E.L.F Holiday Sets. There eyeshadow palettes and face palettes and a bunch of other sets. One of the things I look foward to during the holidays is this. No need to get them online because that shipping is a b*tch and it takes forever to arrive. So ladies get them because they'll be gone before you know it.

I bought an earring set with pearls and bows. I am in LOVE with things with bows so I could not resist. I also bought the Loreal Superior Preference box color in 10NB. I use a lot of pro products and a lot of it you cannot get unless licensed. I know its totally unfair if I just review pro products when I know a lot of my followers are not. So I figured I mix it up a bit. I've used box colors and do not have a problem with it or atleast with some of the brands. I will be using this box color soon once my roots grow. Review and a tutorial on it soon :3

Red Violet hair extensions.

I ordered another set of hair extensions off of eBay again. This time they are red violet, 30g, 15" and for $10 USD. There are six weft pieces and each weft are 2inches. These kinds of sets are great for that add of color or peek a boo pieces. Not recomended for full head coverage. The are pretty good quality and will last 3 to 6 months depending how much they are used.

I also ordered some hot pink ones. Hoping they come today!

Haul: Stila

About a week ago I posted here about the 5 for 5 deal that Stila was having. My order finally came today. I am a little disappointed that I only recived 2 of the 4 items I ordered. Apparently the other two items where not sold out untill my order was ready to ship out.. or something like that. What I am more disappointed was I ordered two of my skin tone color and one a shade lighter... I endded up getting the shade lighter. Lame! But whatever! They where only $5 USD compared to the $30 USD orginal price each so I can't complain much.

I recived the Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer in shade 02 and Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer in Medium. I'm originaly in the shade Tone.

I used to us Stila's TM (tinted moisturizers) all the time but since I kicked my over spending habit I've stayed away from over priced products. My friend Kon told me about this deal and I could not resist. These TM worked wonderfully on my super duper oily skin. It gave a dewy finish but nothing near "omg oily face" dewy-ness.

This is the first time I'll be using the Illuminating TM so I am kinda excited. I actually wanted the Bronzing TM but that was sold out :(

Idk if these products are going to be discontinued which I hope not. But I have a feeling they may be improving the formula which I really hope for lol.

Calling all Blondes!

My CosmoProf store has this 5 for 5 section and it basically means 5 items for $5 USD. I ended up grabbing 10 of the Matrix Sparkling Blondes Restorative System. It is a once a week deep conditioning treatment specifically for blonde hair. I am so happy I grabbed 10 because it lasted me more then 2 months. I went back to buy some more but they where sold out :( but that's ok. I switched to a new system.

I did notice some good changes with my hair. It is a bit more softer and smoother. My hair does feel a bit more hydrated and it also looks a little healthier. There are no other major changes but none the less I am satisfied with the out come after two months. Do keep in mind that my hair is extreamly chemically treated due to all the bleach and toner I use. So keeping it healthy as much as possible is a must.

All in all I am happy with this product. I don't know if this a discontinued product and I don't know if this is sold to the puplic. If you get your hands on this product or have used it before I would like to hear how it worked for you.

Haul: WnW and NYC and EXCITING NEWS!!!

Almost every morning before I go to work I go to Target. Usually not to shop but to get some walking excersize. I go up the stairs a couple of times and walk around the store a couple of times. Hehe I know weird but who cares. A few days ago I did pick up a few things. During my birthday week I spoil myself with whatever I want. Which is good because I do not buy a lot of makeup now a days. I've managed to kick that addiction to the curb a long time ago and I'm happy I did. I have so much more money saved up and my wallet is always happy and full. Anyways, I picked up WnW's ColorIcon Blusher in Mellow Wine, Bronzer in Goddess and NYC's Liquid LipShine in Prospect Pink 576. This is my first time purchasing WnW blusher and bronzer and NYC lipshine.

NYC's Prospect Pink is just lovely. It works so beautiful on top of my all time favorite lipstick MAC's Pink Plaid. Its a frosty lipshine so it adds great demention to my matte lipstick.

Mellow Wine is a mauve color blush which I love because its great for the that in between color for conture or blush or both lol. It is very pigmented and buildable.

Goddess is a deep bronzer with a bit of a satin finish. It is very pigmented and very buildable. I love bronzer for thoes day when I feel a little pale and need that extra pop color. Which is great because the cold season is here ;)

In total I only spent $10 USD and I am very happy with this buy.

So on to the great and wonderful news! I am planning to have a Giveaway!! YAY!! Its going to be a birthday giveaway. I figured that I get wonderful things on my birthday and thought I should share it with you, my followers. Plus the last time I had a giveaway was last year around the same time.. yeah I know.. lame. i do not usually buy anything from MAC because i find that they are a bit on the expensive side and almost all of their products can be duped or something like that. the only sections i find interesting is their lipsticks, makeup brushes and their paint pots. other then that i could careless xp

i felt like i should spoil myself since it is my birthday week so i headed on to the mall and stopped by MAC. i was running super low on my favorite lipstick Pink Plaid so i pick that up along with Kinda Sexy (f.y.i i LOVE matte lippies). i also picked up the paint pot in Painterly because i've been hearing soooooooo much good things about this paint pot for a VERY long time so i finally got one. since i have a pro card everything together was just under $30 USD. not too shabby i suppose.

i seriously meant it when i said i was running low on my fave lippie Pink Plaid lol

im like digging into the stick to get every ounce of it lol. i propably will just depot whatever is left into small container and finish it from there. hehe gotta get every pennies worth!

Deep Fried Twinkies

That's right!! I said it!! If you've been to the L.A or O.C Fair then this is one of the many ((not so good for you health lol)) yummy yummy foods there. Out of the gigantic turkey legs and all the deep fried goodness, this one was the hubby's and my favorite.

It's very simple to make. You'll need:

-Cooking oil

-Powder sugar

-Chocolae syrup

-Twinkies

Fill a medium size pot almost half way with your choice of cooking oil. Set your heat to medium low. Once your oil is ready place Twinkies in. I prefer 3 at a time because it only takes 30seconds to 1minute for each side to fry. Fry till they are either golden to a deep golden brown. The darker the more crunchy. Place twinkies on a rack to cool for a minute. Once cooled dust or in my hubby's case dump on the powder sugar and chocolate syrup. Enjoy!!

This best served warm with either hot coco or milk.

Hard Candy Glamoflauge

I've been using Glamoflauge for more then half a year and have been in love with it since. It covers up my dark circles and any other problem spots I have. I also love the fact that a little goes a long way, I mean it! Its very opaque and smooth to the touch. Very easy to blend. It does not cake. It has a yellow/beige tone but more on the beige side.

The only down side to this it's only available at Walmart, they are usually out of stock and they only come in three shades Light, Medium and Tan. I am a Tan but I also have the shade Medium because during the winter I'm a bit lighter so I mix the Medium and Tan together.

Bare skin.

Dotting Glamoflauge around eye area.

Blend with concealer brush and fingers.

Set with powder.

All in all this product is holy grail for me. I seriously cannot leave the house with out this on me.

First Impression: e.l.f Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

I visited my local Target and picked up the e.l.f Tinted Moisturizer in Beige and Almond. Let's be real e.l.f has a problem with giving "true swatches" for their product so to be safe I bought a light color and a dark color to mix up a color the suits my skin color. Anyways, it claims to have Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C and E. It also has SF 20 and each bottle has .88floz. / 25ml all for $3 USD a pop. Which isn't so bad. The part that bugs me is why they couldn't put 1oz. Seriously I feel like there is so much space left over in this bottle that it seems like a wast to have such a large package for such a small amount... idk maybe its just me.

The product has a nice creamy texture and it smells like sunblock but not as strong. It is very easy to apply and blend into your skin. It does not feel heavy and when dry it does not feel sticky. The only problem I have is when the product dries is dries a bit darker. I actually don't have a problem with that but for those who want to give it a try you've been warn. I suggest buying a shade lighter or just like me just buy two shades and mix your own.

As the packaing goes I like it. Its a squeez tube and its nice and sturdy. But then again I feel like its too big for such a small amout of product. All in all nothing fancy. Just your basic tube.

I have red spots, small red veins, dark circles and major uneven tones all over my face. I was not expecting much or even anything at all from this product but that slightly changed. It bearly covers my redness and veins and dark circles BUT it did create an all around even tone on my face which I love. Especially when it only took one layer. All in all I do enjoy this product so far. I will give a more detail review on this product in the future.

Joico Smooth Cure Sulfate-Free and K-PAK Revitaluxe Bio-Advanced Restorative Treatment

I love shopping at CosmoProf because I know all the girls that work there and they always hook it up with a lot of samples. Today I got 3 sample sets of the Joico Smooth Cure Sulfate-Free and 2 of the K-PAK Revitaluxe.

The Smooth Cure claims "to leave hair smooth up to 72hrs, reduce frizz by 79%, provide 24 hours of high humidity protection and is formaldehyde-free." I also love the fact that it is sulfate free and if you do your research sulfates are one of the ingredients that causes drying and discoloration in your hair. It even speeds up the fading proccess of freshly colored hair. I even heard some clients say they've been burned by shampoos that have too much sulfates ::cough cough:: Pantene ::cough:: it is true that sulfate free shapoos take a little more effort to lather up but trust me its worth every effort when it comes to beautiful healthy hair. So I am totally excited to try this product out.

According to the sales lady K-PAK Revitaluxe does wonders and maybe even magic to those with extreamly chemicaly treated hair. Like me!! Haha. This product claims "to actively repaires, restores, protects and hydrates hair,correcting years worth of damaged while preventing furture damage. With each application hair becomes stronger, softer, more moisturized, with improved elasticity." It also features a breakthrough hair technology Keratin Peptide Complex which is a blend of Bio-Mimetic Peptides, Keratin Amino Acids, Jojoba Oil and Aloe extract. The most important ingredient is Keratin. Keratin is one of the building blocks of hair strenghth and health. The less Keratin your hair has the more prone it is to breakage and unfixable damages. I am also excited to try this out.

Haul: Hard Candy

I haven't bought makeup in such a long time and when I do I feel it's not even worthy enough to post about it. Until today! I went to my local Walmart to buy some school supplies for my son because he'll be starting school for the very first time next week yay. Anyways, i always stop buy the cosmetics section before I check out. I always head straight to the Hard Candy section because 1 they carry my most favorite concealer Glamoflauge and 2 I ran out of my most favorite concealer more then a month ago. I mean I checked every Walmart and they seem to NEVER restocking the Hard Candy section. But today I got lucky! Fully stocked and so I did what any girl would do. I bought every Glamoflauge in my shade. Hahaha don't worry I didn't go crazy. There was only three.

Next to the Glamoflauge was the Undercover Agent. Usually they cost the same price at the Glamoflauge which is $6 USD but for some reason was marked $1 USD. Long story short. Since the sales associate marked it wrong my hubby being the greatest husband ever made sure I got it for $1 USD. So I also got that in my shade and i also bought all of it hahaha yeah I'm geedy, oh well.

I'm a happy girl.

Haul: Good Quality Hair Extensions. Cheap!

for a fact hair extensions can be a bit pricey and that all depends on what type of hair, the length and the thickness. prices can range from $50 to $500 USD or even more for good quality hair. the ones i own before the ones I'm about to show you cost about $70 USD and i have two sets both weight about 140g each plus or minus. they are 18" long and real human hair. why i have two sets.... well one set is dip dye hot pink and purple and the other is left natural.

The ones i bought are 15" and 70g. keep in mind that it takes about 100g average to cover the whole head and blend in well. so i was a bit spectacle about purchasing 70g. also it was on eBay and you really have to do your research to find the right buyer. i ended up with this seller human-hair. i bought my extensions for $16 USD for 70g and the length is 15". i saw a few reviews and was like "what the heck! might as well give it a try!"

i ordered them and they just got here today. so it took a little over a week to get here which isnt so bad since it is coming from China and the shipping was free.

I really do enjoy this set every much. They feel very soft and silky and minimal to no shedding.

70g of hair blended in really well but thats only because i only needed just a little bit of length. also my hair have a lot or layers so i was very easy to blend it in. if your hair is one length or has very little layers then it would be hard to blend it in. i would suggest buying more then 70g. other then that your good to go.

the seller also has other colors, lengths and types all for a very low price but keep in mind most are 70g so if your someone that may need more then i highly recommend buying two sets. another tip, if you cant find a match to your hair color then buy a set that is one to two shades lighter then your own hair color and then you can dye it to match it.

When I'm not wearing my dip extentions (tutorial here and picture here) I still want some color in my hair but the thing is I don't want something permanent. So I made some extentions for my fringe. I made a voilet one and a hot pink one. I might be making more. I will be doing a tutorial on how to make it soon.

Review: TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo

since i don't wash my hair everyday i still like to have it feeling clean and full of volume. hair sprays can do the trick but having that sick yucky feeling isn't my cup of tea. i was introduced to dry shampoo when i was in beauty school and i have loved it ever since. my most favorite go to dry shampoo is TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo. it leave my second and even third day feeling fresh, clean and full of volume. as for the packaging goes. i love it. it's so rock star-ish.

i also got mines at CosmoProf, which is a pro store, and they sell it for $10 USD but if you cant get it there they sell it at Target and CVS for around $20 USD which is a bit pricy. but totally worth every buck.

when using it shake well. spray to the roots and let it sit for a min or 2. then with a comb or brush, brush your hair until most or all of the product it out. voila! fresh voluminous hair.

this is the powder/clay product in the bottle. this is what absorbs the oils in your roots and helps give you lift and volume.

Price: since i get a pro discount 5/5 but store bought i'd rate it 4/5

I rocked my brunette wig for the day because I forgot how dark hair looked on me. I'm a natural dark brown/black hair gal and have been blonde for the pass three years. It was fun wearing it but I can't get myself to go back to my natural hair color. Everyone, even my mommy, said that my blonde suits me way better hehe. Shoot my son cried when he saw me wear my wig.

Oh btw I bought this wig on eBay. I forgot the seller's name but I remember I only paid under $10 USD and free shipping. It is synthetic. The length is just above my waist when cruled and pass it when straightened.

Is there a hair color that you've always wanted to be? Or did you find your perfect shade? If so what is it? I would love to hear it all.

BaByliss Pro haul

About a month ago my blow dryer broke and just recently my flat iron past on. As a hair stylist, not having these tools is like cake with no icing. hot tools are always needed! I am a strong beliver in not letting a client leave without a style to suit their new cut and/or color.

When my blow dryer gave up on me (which was also a BaByliss) I bought a Chi infaTECH Trim Line Collection from Ross. WORSE BUY EVER!! This was my first Chi product ever and it was an EPIC FAIL!! Even my mom's ConAir can kick its ass. LoL! It took forever to dry hair. Whatever style I did fell flat. I was soooooo annoyed and my cilents where too!! but anyways it was just a blow dryer I needed for the time being until I bought a pro one. Anyways I will do a full review of the Chi dryer soon.

Yesterday while flat ironing my extentions (also a BaByliss). My iron fell on the floor and died and gave out T_T this was my ultimate favorite iron. Call it a holy grail if you must. The moment it died I didn't know what to do for that moment. I was lost. Hahaha. Weird but who cares. That's when I made up my mind. I'm buying my pro tools!

Yes I bought BaByliss again. The only reasons the other ones broke is because I dropped them like a million times 10x. Plus Babyliss is the ONLY product I know that dose the job perfect for me and my clients. I will also do a review on all of these products soon.

I bought all of them at CosmoProf. The 1 1/4" flat iron came with a mini flat iron, comb, mini blow dryer and a carry case all for $129 USD. Which is pretty cheap for all those because the iron itself is already $129 USD and I bought it at the pro store. Any where else it can range from $160 to $200 USD just for the iron. The blow dryer was on sale for $60 USD. I acctually do not know how much it would cost at other stores. So in total plus taxs I spent $206.60 USD which isn't so bad xp

In the end I am so happy I finally have tools that live up to me and my clients expectations. Now I'm back on track making the world beautiful one person at a time.

D.I.Y: Dip Dye Hair Extensions.

Dip Dyeing it a technique where only the end of your hair or in this case the ends of your hair extensions are colored. it can be colored to your preference but i highly recommend something that is either 2 to 3 shades darker or lighter then your original color or even more. because 1.) you obviously want the color to show against your original hair color and 2.) if you cant even tell that your hair is a different color then you just basically wasted your time and probably damaged your ends for no particular reason. with that being said lets begin!

i will be using Rusk Deep Shine Demi in Lilac along with its demi developer. this is a pro product so it is not available for those who are not licenced.

along with the color you will need:

1. gloves (i cannot stress how much gloves are important dealing with chemicals)

2. your hair extensions.

3. a non-metallic mix bowl

4. coloring brush

5. foil

spread your hair extensions. since i am using blonde i do not need to lighten the hair (bleach). but if you are using darker hair color then i highly recommend you do unless your using a high lift color then you should be fine. no matter what you should always do test strand to she how well your hair will lift and/or color.

color the ends. make sure you do not color in a straight line. make it jagged so the color blends well with the blonde.

let it develop according to manufactures instructtions. according to Rusk i left it on for 20mins.

rinse the color out until the water runs clear. dry. style.

voila! dip dye ends!!

Review: Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray

Suave came out with their own professional line a while back so i had to go check it out. one of the first things that caught my eye was their Dry Shampoo Spray especially when is was only $3 USD. i had to give it a try.

worst buy ever!!! the first thing that turned me off was the super strong perfume!! it was almost like spraying perfume into your own hair. ew!! the smell is a flowery scent on crack! i swear. lol. after spraying it onto my roots and enduring the scent. i tried to brush out the product but couldn't because instead of acting like dry shampoo it just ended up sticking like hair spray WTF!! i was so fed up that i just took a shower and washed that crap off.

as for the package it pretty good. probably the only thing good about it xp

thank goodness that crap was only worth $3 USD.

idk maybe it's different for everyone. have you tried this product? if so how did it go for you?

I think I'm going to do things a bit different. i just feel like there's alot of makeup tutorials or anything related to makeup everywhere and not enough about.. well everything else in the beauty world. like hair for example, which is my expertise. so this blog is going to concentrate more on hair or at least I'll try too. there will be some posts about makeup but it'll be more on the review side and as for makeup tuts I'll just add links to other vloggers/bloggers who do spectacular makeup.
now that's been said let the blogging start xp

some of the places i went to this weekend was Toys 'R' Us, CVS and The Citadel Outlets. Toys 'R' Us was of course for my little boy. he has to go there at least once a week but the good thing is every time we go he doesn't always buy anything. he just loves to go and run around. i saw that their gamer shirts where on sale. 3 shirts for $10 USD and each shirt was originally priced at $17 USD each. talk about a steal! i'm a gamer girl and seeing some of my favorite old school gamer shirts on sale.. well what do you think i did lol.

CVS didn't really have much of sale but having a $5 off if you spend $25 USD or more, another $5 off and a Maybelline 50% off coupon made everything seem like a sale. i bought two bottles of the Maybelline Fit foundation in 210 and 225 which where also b.o.g.o 50% off, Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Sand and Milani Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner in Black. i dont really remember how much each product was but i know everything together was about $40 USD but with the coupons i only spent under $15 USD. i haven't tried the Milani Liner yet but as for the Fit foundation they are ok. as the formula goes it's pretty decent but the shades i bought are a bit too light. i ended up buying the shade i am during fall/winter so i wont be returning them. i will be buying a shade or two darker to match my summer skin tone so look out for a reviwe in the future. the Dream Matte Powder is a dream! i love this powder and has been wondering why i haven't bought this.

i bought two Super Mario shirts and one Zelda shirts. and being a gamer girl with style i cut the two Super Mario shirt so they can be off the shoulder shirts. as for the Zelda.. idk how i want to revamp that one.

and a mini tutorial!

i primed my eyelids with UDPP and with a small chisel brush i used a shimmery light brown color all over my lid. then i lined my upper lash line with a black gel liner.

i added dramatic falsies. i lined the bottom lash line with a dark brown liner from the outer corner going half way in.

with a matte dark brown color and a pencil brush i smudged the color over the dark brown linner.

the finished look.

my son wanted to be in the pictures too lol.

just a couple of days ago one of my closest friends Kon who writes over at faux naturelle posted this sale on my FB. i was a bit iffy on going because i didn't have a ride to get there and i already have A TON of makeup already. well yesterday my hubby came home from work telling me he was going to take the next day off because he saw the post and wanted to take us. yay! i have the BEST hubby EVER!

Kon said it usually gets crowded so i made sure i brought my game face. but... when we got there... well... we where the only ones there. lol better for us i suppose. i mean a few people came a left real quick but we took our time. i mean why rush? especially if everything was at $2-$5 USD you gotta think things through.. well at least we did. hehe. even if it was empty we did have alot of fun in a room full of cheap high end makeup. what girl wouldn't?

and for $2 USD a pop. that's a damn steal. i think at Target they retail for around $18 USD.

i cannot get over this color and i was actually thinking about passing up this item. good thing we took our time. see thinking things through was worth it lol.

this one was ALL kinds of (excuse the language) fucked up!! err. but whatever it was only $2 USD. i cant complain much.

but darn! thats what i get for getting the last one. it was probably tossed around like no body's business.

LOVE this palette! and the color pay off is killer!

at the end of it i ended up spending $21 USD on everything and i think Kon spent about $16 USD. definitely not bad at all. after we went to the mall that was just right around the corner. there my son and hubby rode a train and we shopped a bit at H&M.

the loves of my life!

one thing i am loving alot is belts. i like the fact that if worn right it can complement a certain body feature or give the illusion of having curves or a fuller bust area.

and they where on sale! gotta love sales!!

we where slightly hungry so we stopped for some pho. which was perfect because I'm currently sick pho makes me happy :) i had the combo with the different kinds of meat and Kon had.. i think the shrimp one.

the hubby's order. shrimp and pork sautee with white rice.

last of the haul was at Target. i bought ELF Lip Stain in Birthday Suit for $3 USD, Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray and 7 Zelda collectible cards for 99cents USD each. in total i spent a little over $15 USD at Target.

I'm actually really excited to try my first dry shampoo. i've known about dry shampoos for the longest but never gotten around to trying it because back then my hair was much shoter and my ends stayed nice and hydrated even when it was bleach blond. now, my hair is much longer and it's difficult to keep my ends hydrated when my roots are super oily and scalp is all itchy. i know Sally's Beauty Supplies has one but i check and they retail for $8 USD for such a tiny bottle. Suave was about $3 USD and i've seen enough good reviews just to go check it out. i'll do reviews and maybe a tutorial on it.

all in all today was a great day. i got to catch up with Kon and we got to go shopping and eat yummy food and spend time with my family. i mean the only down side was one of the POP makeup palettes i bought was shattered. other then that the day was fab!

Super Tasty, Super Healthy Soup.

so i've been on this diet for about a month and it involves A LOT of vegetables. i am not complaining and if anything i love vegetables. but it can get a little difficult to create tasty foods when your limited/cut off form a lot of main ingredients like no salt, or a table spoon of olive oil per day.. etc. anyways i came up with this super tasty soup. ENJOY!

you will need:

-three large garlic cloves

-4 to 8 stems of green onions (depends on your taste)

-4 to 6 stems of celery

-1 zucchini

-1 4oz tilapia fillet

-organic tomato soup (1 to 2 cartons)

-crushed chili flakes

cut the celery, zucchini and tilapia in 1/2in chunks and finely dice the garlic and green onions.

fry the garlic till they are golden. make sure your heat is medium high.

add the zucchini and cook for 1-2 mins.

then add the celery and cook for 4 to 5 mins.

keep it covered while you cook. i know.. i know... the lid it way too big. it was late at night and i didnt feel like finding its perfect size lid lol.

add a hand full of the green onions and stir.

add the tilapia. cook for 2 to 3 mins and remember to stir occasionally.

add the chili flakes. add as much as you can handle or you can just skip this step if you dont like spicy flavor.

add 1 to 2 cartons of the organice tomato soup and let it come to a boil.

once it starts to boil add the rest of the green onions and let it cook for another 2-3 mins and your done!!

this soup is not only healthy but taste so damn good lol. it has a nice spicy kick but not too much to over power the whole bold flavor of the dish. ENJOY!

Review: Korean EyeLashes From BF-Beauty.com

0like i've said before on my last post that i tend to rock the eyeliner look more often due to my busy schedule. i literally have no time to put some glamorous eyeshadow on because it takes too much time. but i also wanted to still look fab even with just plain old eyeliner. how else with falsies. different types of lashes creates different types of effects. i prefer the natural lengthy kind. dont get me wrong i do love the full dramatic lashes but for an everyday look that is what i prefer.

i am wearing the ones on the right. set#11.

i really like them alot so far. they are true to what you see online and they feel really flexible. they also fit nice and comfortably. did i mention its pretty cheap! it's about $7 USD for 12 pairs and the shipping is super super DUPER cheap. i paid about 60cents for shipping!! and they came pretty quick. it took a little more then a week for them to arrive from China to where i live in California. they have a few more other selections which im planning to purchase in the near future.

wow i think its been about over 2months since my last post. right after Christmas my life got a little busy and hectic.. well alot more hectic.. i started working at a new salon and my clientele bumped up a notch so there where more busy days then usual and i couldn't really find time to start blogging again until i got my schedule all figured out. which, obviously, i did lol. i mean i still wont be able to update as often as i want to but i will be here every now and then. i really did miss blogging. it was, i guess, a way of venting.. beauty wise at least. well enough of that.

since I've been busier i've been rocking the basic eyeliner look with falsies alot now. usually I'd do a dramatic smokey or something full of colors but geez spending an hour in front of the mirror aint cutting it lol. YES! an hour. so i was running low on falsies and went to my favorite beauty web site bf-beauty.com and bought korean falsies which where super duper cheap. its 12pairs for only about $7 USD. so in total i bought 36 pairs which was just under $20 USD. i got 2 of set #1 and 1 of set #11. omg! love them!

along with the lashes was free.. umm i think their eye lid glue.. kinda like eyelid tapes but glue-ish form. and free pre designed nail tips.

Christmas with my family!

my family and i had such a blast this Christmas! there where lots of gifts to give and receive but more receiving on my son's part lol. his heart was full of joy and happiness opening and playing with his new toys that he couldn't even sleep -_- lol. but i don't mind it. anything to keep my baby happy.

we went to church at midnight and went straight home to open all the gifts!

my son went crazy with joy when he saw this! this was from his godfather.

and even more crazy when he saw his very first drum set!! from his grandparents.

the mess in our living room. lol.

lets not talk about the LOUD noise till 4am in the morning. lol.

Christmas was mainly spent with my dad's side of the family! love it! we're the family in all red. can you spot us? lol

my dad's side has this tradition for the kids to have their own chair and they get to watch it stack up with presents. this is my son's.

there where tables stacked with even more gifts!!!

now my turn. my hubby loves dresses that.. ummm how would i say it... lets just say it all about the chest area lol.

he bought me three dresses which i love so much.

he also got me Skull Candy headphones in Violet.

also a Conair Infinit 3 barrel waver. which i live the most of all!!!

my brother bought me a cute shirt. fyi, i love v-necks lol.

i forgot to take pictures when we where at my hubby's side of the family but i do have this!!

in that big gold Estee Lauder box was all of this!! its the holiay set!!!

so in love!!!

but the best gift of all was from my parents!!!! really???!?? Coach!!! OMG yes please!!!

omg i cannot explain how happy i was when i got this baby!! lets just there was sreaming of joy involved lmao.

Tutorial: Christmas Nails!!!

besides doing hair and makeup i also love doing nails. and also upon request i will be doing nail art post more often. here i will be doing a pictorial tutorial on Christmas themed nails. these nails are definitely festive and an eye catcher. they are not that difficult to do. with that being said.. on to the tutorial!

these are the nails we'll be doing.

start off with a fresh set of pre-manicured nails. YES! these are my natural nails. no acrylic here buddy.

you will need acetone, red nail polish, green nail polish, while nail polish, top coat, nail file, tooth picks and "u" shaped real hair nail brush [i forgot to add glitter in the picture]. it is important to have a "u" shaped brush because a straight cut will make it difficult to shape the smile line for the french tip. real hair because taklon or synthetic will melt in acetone.

put two coats of polish on half of the nail and let it fully dry. i alternated with the colors... red green red greed.. and so on. as you can see i already created the smile line on the green.

once the polish has fully dried. dip your brush in the acetone. to create the smile line you have to swivel your brush back and forth in a wide "u" shape manner. ta dah! smile!! lol. it may take a few practices to get perfect.

you should have something like this.

with the tooth pick, file it until its nice and flat. if you have nail art doters then you can skip this step and use your doters.

here we will be creating a flower. you can skip these step if your just satisfied with the green and red french tip. on your ring finger place your first dot just above the smile line near the corner.

place second dot on the lower left side of the first dot and touching the smile line.

the third dot is placed in the inner corner of the smile line. remember keep it parallel to the second dot.

place fourth dot just under the second and a bit more in ward towards the center of the flower but still leaving room for the last petal.

lastly, place final dot in the remaining space.

to create the petal just take the pointed side of the tooth pick and from the center of the white dot drag towards the center of the flower.

should look like this.

to create the petal. use the green nail polish and dot in between the first and second white dot. use the pointed side of the tooth pick to create a flick for the leaf. from the center of the leaf take the pointed side of the tooth pick and drag toward the flower to create a line.

finish off with a rhinestone or glitter for the center of the flower.

finish with top coat and let it dry. now your ready for the holidays!!!

i bought Love Alpha Summer Gradually Compact in #3 for $4.49 USD. it also came with a free set of false nail art tips which i might giveaway in my next giveaway =p lol. by the way the shipping price for all of this was only 60cents YES! thats right 60cents and it came in just a week. not bad right? and thats from China to the US.

the compact comes with 8 e/s, two blushes, a mini brush and a mini e/s applicator.

Tutorial: E.L.F The Beauty Encyclopedia Neutrals Edition

i am just in love with the encyclopedia palettes from E.L.F especially the Neutrals Edition. the shadows are nicely pigmented and when paired with a good primer the color pay off is wonderful. so to share with you beauties how great this palette is i am going to do a tutorial. a brown smokey look.

i used my UDPP then my NYX e/s primer in White on top. NYX primer in White is just like the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk.

inside the palette.

UDPP all over the lid. i blended with my finger.

NYX e/s primer in White all over the lid and just above the crease. again blend with finger.

with a small chisel brush i used a light shimmery beige.

pat that light shimmery beige in the inner corner and 3/4 in. leave the outther coner untouched. blend in the crease.

with a conture brush i picked up a deep matte brown.

shade in the the outer "v" and blend inward in the crease.

with a fluffy blending brush i picked up a light off white matte color.

i used that color to blend out the edges. you can use that color also as a highligh but i left my brow bone bare.

i used the brown eyeliner pencil to line my lower lash line.

line from outer corner going half way in.

lastly line your eyes with black eyeliner and finish with mascara.

the finish look.

During the holiday season Target sells E.L.F both as gift sets or as stocking stuffers. i ended up getting lucky by finding a Target that sell not just the gift sets but also their Studio line and their Essentials line all for the same price as their online store. your probably thinking "E.L.F is already cheap, so why bother?" well here's why.. 1. you don't have to pay for shipping because we all know paying $1 for an eyeshadow isn't really all that great when the shipping is $6 and 2. everyone knows that E.L.F shipping takes FOREVER to arrive for most of us!!! lol. anyways, i wanted to haul again because after the holiday season is done Target wont sell E.L.F anymore so i wanted to get my hands on a few more things before they go bye bye. for my first E.L.F haul click here.

Haul: Sephora and Beauty World

Sephora:

i recently hit pan on my UDPP a few days back and since its a holy grail for me i had to get a new one. as much as i love UDPP i really hate their packaging. so everytime i get i new one i just cut it open and put the potion in a small container. anyways, Urban Decay came out with the pro size and i had to get it because it has 150% more then the original bottle and the packaging is a a squeeze tube. yay!!! i guess the down side is the price. $29 USD plus tax but i dont really care. its the best primer ever!! i also got free samples, MUFE cream blush and a duo mascara from Benefit.

Beauty World:

Beauty World is a small beauty store found in Del Amo. i am in love with that store because it's the only beauty store i know that is fully stocked with NYX cosmetics. i bought NYX Candy Glitter eyeliner in Crystal and that was $5 USD and i also bought two L.A Colors palettes in Soriee and Chromatic for about $2 USD each. L.A Colors arn't the best type of eyeshadows on the market but when paired with a great primer like UDPP the pigmentation is great!

Rite Aid Haul and Award!!!

i dont know when was the last time i stepped into Rite Aid to tell you guys the truth lol. anyways, the first thing that came into mind was the Wet n Wild palettes that everyone has been raving about. i've been wanting to buy them for the longest but i've never got around to it and i probably wont anytime soon. why? you must ask. well its because a long time ago i used to be a maniac spender especially with cosmetics. i mean it was really bad but we wont go into detail of how horrible my spending was. i did a lot of "project pans" and i even forced myself to keep a minimum spending budget per week. in the end i went from spending 100s of dollars per week to about 20 dollars per every 2 to 3 weeks on cosmetics. i am very happy with the out come. i actually have money in my savings and i can spend for other things that i really need. even my hubby is extremely happy with the change i've been through. its wasnt easy but i've managed to get through it. anyways enough of me ranting. time to get to my little haul.

Rite Aid:

eos is amazing by the way lol. both where $4 USD. the left one is summer fruit which by the way smells soooooooo yummy and thr right one is the honey suckle honeydew.

i've been wanting nail polishes with a chrome feel to it and i foun these. Chameleon. they where both $3 USD and BOGO 50% off.

i just recently ran out of white eyeliner so i bought Wet n Wild's white eyeliner for only $1 USD. its not the best eyeline but it'll do for now.

7 things about ARES

1. i am a licenced cosmetologist. i love doing hair more then anything. Yes! even more then makeup lol. i am just fascinated with hair styles, color, cuts... just everything about it!! lol. i've been doing hair for about more then year now and i am just in love with what i do lol.

2. i have my own mini salon in my back yard. my dad built a room from scratch and with the help of my borther and wonderful hubby i have a room of my own. other people have a vanity station. i, on the other hand, have my own beauty room =) and yes this is actually a picture of my salon. if want to see more click here and here.

3. i love LOVE to deco. it just a hobbie that im so addicted too lol. this is an old pic of a phone case i did a long time ago.

4. i am not your typical asian girl =p i have true blond hair (none of that wanna be orange/yellow blond hair). i've been blond for about two years now and i'm loving every moment of it. i used to be so obsessed with my natural dark hair color but being blond is just a whole another level. L-O-V-E it!!!

5. beside the whole beauty lover i am. i am a geek deep down in my heart. i love video games, i love reading and i love anything tech wise. i cant get enough of Territories, Flags and Fire Fight on Halo, i'm all about the big bad ass buff men and that grueling chain saw gun in Gears of War and gosh we can never forget about Nazi Zombies on Call Of Duty. all are just EPIC!! but dont worry i also have a soft geeky side too. i'm head over heels with the epic Final Fantasy stories and of course their forever epic visuals. gahhh! i could go on forever. lol. im just saying. you either have a girly-girl, a tom boy or a geeky girl. i can proudly say im all of the above =D

6. i am a very strong believer in karma. i truly believe that what goes around will come around 10 times stronger depending on the good or bad deeds that where done. i've seen it happen to people and i've experienced it as well. so be careful because in the end karma will be biting you in the butt or showering you with good fortune.

7. last but definitely not least, is i love to do nail art. i can do a basic french tip to extreme acrylic 3D art. i learned how to do it during my time in beauty school and i've been doing it ever since.

HomeMade French Toast and EOTD

French Toast:

lately i've been making french toast because my son and hubby cant get enough of it. lol. anything to keep my little family happy. so i though i should share my special easy to make french toast. you can have it for breakfast with a nice hot cup of coco or coffee or you can even have it any time of day to snack on. lets get started!

you'll need 2-3 eggs depending how thick your bread slice is, sugar, thick slice bread, a bowl for mixing and a fork or whisk.

a non-stick pan and a spatula.

scramble the eggs in a bowl using either a fork or whisk. whatever you prefer.

for every 3-2 eggs add 1tbs of sugar.

scramble until the sugar has fully dissolve.

set your flame to medium low.

coat each side of the bread lightly with the egg mixture.

place onto non-stick pan.

each side should take about 1-2mins. it all depends on how well done you want the toast to be.

as for me i prefer mines to be dark brown with a ton of maple syrup lol. ENJOY!

Tutorial: Hard Candy Gun Metal Look

prime with your favorite primer. i used UDPP.

i also used MUFE Flash Palette in Black on the outer corner and 3/4 in. blend with your finger and do not pass the crease.

i applied Hard Candy e/s in silver in the inner corner and 1/4 in. i used a smal conture brush.

i applied Hard Candy e/s in the darker grey on the rest of the lid to the outter corner. i used a medium size chisel brush.

with a blending brush i used Hard Candy in Backstage Pass duo e/s in the lightest color. blend within the crease.

i used a q-tip to creat a wing effect.

line your eyes and mascara. sorry about the shiney eye brows. i just got them tattoo and i have to keep putting the ointment on. hehe.

Hauls: Black Friday

Walmart:

before Thanksgiving one of my closest friend took me and my brother to Walmart for some shopping. i ended up buy some cute boots for only $12 USD each! i got leopard print one because it was the last one in my size. i've been searching like crazy for them and i found the pair hidden all the way in the back under a mountain of other boots. yay for digging! And the brown one where too cute to pass up lol.

my brother was feeling a bit giving and bought me a Dazzling Eyeshadow set for only $10 USD and i have to say the pigmentation pay off is amazing but then again it is made by same company as Wet n Wild. the brand is call The Color Workshop and i think they are usually sold during the holiday season. i also did some swatches to prove the color pay off was good.

Black Friday Hauls

now off to Black Friday hauls. i'm only posting the hauls i got for myself because the rest are gifts and i dont want to spoil for the people receiving them. the first haul was bought by my hubby. i've been want a new set of headphones and i prefer the ones with hesh because they just look nicer. he bought me SkullCandy ones in shiny Purple and matte Black. it was about $40 USD and on sale for $30 USD.

Target:

for those beauty lovers that live in the Hawthorne and Torrancearea the Target behind the Galleria Mall has a small section just like NYC or Wet n Wild just for, thats right, E.L.F products!!! they hold their basic products and their Studio products. it was fully stocked even during Black Friday.. if anything it looked like it was untouched lol. i guess not alot of people know about it. anyways i definatly hauled! come on now i have been saving like a good little angel and having E.L.F at stores beats the shipping price and the super long wait for that package to arrive! lol.

Charlotte Russe:

some how from where i live we ended up in Camarillo for the last of out Black Friday shopping and thats about 2 hours away from home lol. Charlotte Russe was having an awsome sale!! i bought 2 gray cardigan for $10 USD each. one is first one has cute cute ruffles around the back and the other one is thermal. i also bought three shirts. the solid gray is only $3 USD while the others was $5 USD. all where about 50% off which is great in my book lol.

Forever 21:

they where having a but one get one free is ended up snatching two cute black dresses. the first one was only $6 USD and the second onw whish i thing it super super cute even with a belt at the waste line was only $5 USD. another great buy especaily the see throught back drees was free!! i had extra cash on the side so i bought Love and Beauty Electric Nail and it was only $10 USD. no swatches yet but i will soon

Mini Haul, LOTD and EXCITING NEWS!!

Haul: SFC and CVS

Last night my mom took me to Sea Food City (a filipino market) and CVS. from SFC i bought Hi-Chew in Mango flavor, which by they is the best flavor ever!! lol. and at CVS i bought Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream for about $6 USD, Sally Hansen Xtream Wear Nail Polish in Celeb City which was on sale for $2 USD and Milani 3D Holographic in 509 HD and that was for $5 USD.

ever since i started growing out my nails i've been needing a cuticle moisturizer because my cuticles get extremely dry especially in cold weather. and from doing alot of research i do have high hopes for the Burt's Bees to work.

also i've been looking high and low for a particular nail polish and its China Glaze in OMG. its such a pretty color and i cant seem to find it anywhere. so i finally found a nail polish that may be a dupe to OMG and its Milani in HD. it kinda does have the same holographic feel but it does not compare to OMG. idk, just my opinion. as for the other nail polish i just bought it just because i dont have a silver nail polish in my collection

LOTD: Smokey Green

besides being a beauty junkie i am also a gamer/geek deep down in my heart. i love video games such as Halo, Gears of War, Resistance, Call of Duty: both Modern Warfare and Black Ops, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest... gosh i could go on forever lol. i also love to read but i would go listing that because that can go on forever too. but one series i love reading is Harry Potter. which by the way all you lovely beautiful geeky girls and guys know the 7th part 1 movie is out!!!! so today i did a LOTD contribution to my favorite house. can you guess?? thats right im a proud Slytherin!!

today was a very relaxing day so i decided to give myself a manicure =]

i did one coat of the China Glaze and on top i did one coat of the Kleancolor. Finished off with the Beauty Secrets top coat. i used Confetti for the cute little bow. ENJOY!

DIY: How to Deco Your Camera.

one of the many hobbies i have is doing deco art especially in hime/gyaru kinda fashion. it takes a bit of time but its all worth the effort in the end. here i will show you how to deco your camera. the camera im using for this DIY Tutorial is a FujiFilm FinePixZ. its a really old camera, i know. but even with it's poor quality picture taking skills, i still love it just like i got it the very first time. plus, it was a mother's day gift from a few years ago lol. anyways, i didnt deco this camera all out because 1. it has a slide cover to turn it on and off so all the big deco would get in the way 2. its an old camera and im planning to upgrade it in the very near future and 3. i wanted to keep it simple so everyone can understand the tutorial. ok, now that im done ranting LETS GET STARTED!!

my Fuji camera. this is what it looks like with cover closed.

cover opened.

first your will need to prep you camera's surface. use any glitter nail polish you prefer.

polish the surface. if you have a cover that slides back and forth like mines DO NOT polish the surface it travels on. you can see i accidentally did polish a bit under the lens so i had to remove that with acetone very carefully -_- do at least 2 to 3 coats of nail glitter polish,

now get all your deco ready! you will also need krazy glue to glue all the pieces down, tooth picks or anything you can use to pick up all your deco with and swarvoski crystals which i highly recommend because they stay shinny for a very long time.

before gluing any of the pieces down i recommend you place them where you want them to be then glue it.

after you have done the deco place the crystals and glue them as well.

fill any open spots with small pearls and your done! this is what i looks like with the cover closed.

and this is what it looks like with the cover opened.

now off to deco the wrist band. you will need a scissor, needle, thread, lace fabric and mini fabric roses.

cut the wrist band to fit you. make sure its still long enough for you to hold your camera comfortably but still tight enough that your camera wont slip off.

now sew both ends together.

sew the lace fabric on both sides of the band. this may take a while and please not to poke yourself because i know i did a few times -_- lol

sew in the roses and now your done!!

with patience and a little creativity you might come up with this or maybe something even cuter! lol

Tutorial: Blue-ish Green-ish

1. Ulta Professional Eyeshadow Primer all over the lid.

2. TCW [The Color Workshop] e/s in Wheat in the hallows of your eye a.k.a your eye socket. Wheat will be the transition color. transition colors help make it easier to blend especially when using bold colors. i used a very soft blending brush.

3. TCW e/s in Wedgewood start from the outer corner then bring it above the crease and leaving the outer corner untouched. also make sure not to put any color on the lid. blend into Wheat. i used a soft blending brush.

4. TCW e/s in Emerald on the outer half of the lid. in this case i did the lid colors last, just something i prefer to do when using bold colors. i used a small chisel brush.

5. TCW e/s in Blanc mixed with Moon. in the outher corner and blend towards Emerald. i used a round conture brush.

6. TCW e/s in Nectar. highligh the brow bone and blend any harsh lines.

7. TCW e/s in Wedgewood bottom outer corner going half way in to give it some smokey effect.

8. Too Face Liquif-Eye Eyeliner dipped into Mehron Paradise Cake in Black and line the lid.

9. NYX Pencil Eyeliner in Black. line the water line.

10. Loreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black. both top and bottm lashes.

i've been searching high and low for the perfect to-go brush case and i think i finally found one. i was searching around Sephora.com's sale section and saw a Harajuku Snow Angel Brush Case on sale for $10 USD. omg what a steal especially when the original price was $28 USD. i needed one because i hate putting my brushes in makeup case [ewww talk about ruin brushes and nasty build up] and i dont really like those to-go brushes because i end up losing the cap or they just break on me =[ plus it's great when i do touch ups every now and then or changing my look from natural to a dramatic night time and i have all the brushes i need.

i even received my free birthday gift from Sephora which i already received when visiting their store awhile ago. lol i dont mind getting a second one. i might give this one away in a giveaway im planning to have soon or something.

Harajuku Snow Angel Brush Case.

it even has a small little zipper pocket.

each pocket can hold up to 2 to 3 eyeshadow brush or one face brush and the flap prevents the brushes from falling out which i love. the size of the brush case is perfect too. it holds both long and short brushes nicely.

Tutorial: Bright Eye Cat Eyes

1. UDPP on the lid and just above the crease.

2. Ulta Mineral Eyeshadow in Gleam all over the lid and just above the crease. i used a soft fluffy brush.

3. i used Too Faced Liquif-Eye Eyeliner and dipped it in my Mehron Paradise Cake in Black and lined my top lid. i uesd Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On in Zero to line my waterline. to finish off i used Loreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black.

finish!! its a nice and easy look that's still bold and has a bit of shimmer.

a few you asked what camera i use. its the Nikon D40. im planning to upgrade but for now i love this camera. works really great and takes clear professional pictures. i dont usually dont bring it around when i go out because i get scared it'll break. lol so im also planning to buy a small camera. any suggestion?????

Tutorial: Bright Deep Sea Look.

1. prime with Urban Decay Primer Potion all over the lid to the brow bone.

2. NYX Eyeshadow Primer in White all over the lid and just above the crease and blend. you don't want any harsh lines because it'll be harder to blend out in the long run.

3. Hard Candy Eyeshadow Duo in Love Bug i used the lights shimmery beige shade and pat it on top of the white primer and blend out the edges. i used a fluffy chisel brush.

4. Ulta Eyeshadow in Deep Sea. just above the crease to the outer corner. blend well!! i used a stiff blending brush.

5. Ulta Eyeshadow in Sin City. to darken outer "v." it depends on you how dark you want it to be. as for me i like it pretty dark for that deep conture effect. blend but not too much. you dont want the colors to mix and look muddy. i used a softer blending brush.

6. Ulta Eyeshadow in Iceland to highlight brow bone.

7. Maybelline Studio Gel Liner in Blackest Black to line top lash line and tight line both top and bottom water line. i used the brush it comes with to line my eyes and a smudge brush to smudge the bottom half.

Gloomy rainy days calls for some comfort foods and new boots!!

oh L.A weather how i love you at times.

its been raining for a couple of days now and i don't mind it at all. if anything i'd take rainy days over hot sunny days. I'm a fall/winter girl and proud of it lol. but there is one thing i hate the most!! lightning and thunder!! i freak out and i wont step a foot out of the house or where ever i am until i feel its pass. errrr!! it's a big fear i have.. i get scared of getting striked or something. and get it.. its a one in a million chance that it'll happen but one day I could be that one and in a million... lol ok so silly scared me will stop ranting now lol. but none the less i still love the fall/winter.

even my mom's frog ornaments finally have a pond to splash in lol.

as im typing this post im munching on a Classic Romanian Salad with fat free Italian dressing topped off with Popcorn Shrimp for lunch =] mmmmmm.

there will be more food as the day go =] on another note i received my new boots in the mail a few days ago. they fit very comfortably and they look super cute!! especially with this weather i needed a new pair because my old ones are worn out a bit. thank you to my husbands parents for buying them as my birthday gift! love you guys!!
