I love shopping at CosmoProf because I know all the girls that work there and they always hook it up with a lot of samples. Today I got 3 sample sets of the Joico Smooth Cure Sulfate-Free and 2 of the K-PAK Revitaluxe.
The Smooth Cure claims "to leave hair smooth up to 72hrs, reduce frizz by 79%, provide 24 hours of high humidity protection and is formaldehyde-free." I also love the fact that it is sulfate free and if you do your research sulfates are one of the ingredients that causes drying and discoloration in your hair. It even speeds up the fading proccess of freshly colored hair. I even heard some clients say they've been burned by shampoos that have too much sulfates ::cough cough:: Pantene ::cough:: it is true that sulfate free shapoos take a little more effort to lather up but trust me its worth every effort when it comes to beautiful healthy hair. So I am totally excited to try this product out.
According to the sales lady K-PAK Revitaluxe does wonders and maybe even magic to those with extreamly chemicaly treated hair. Like me!! Haha. This product claims "to actively repaires, restores, protects and hydrates hair,correcting years worth of damaged while preventing furture damage. With each application hair becomes stronger, softer, more moisturized, with improved elasticity." It also features a breakthrough hair technology Keratin Peptide Complex which is a blend of Bio-Mimetic Peptides, Keratin Amino Acids, Jojoba Oil and Aloe extract. The most important ingredient is Keratin. Keratin is one of the building blocks of hair strenghth and health. The less Keratin your hair has the more prone it is to breakage and unfixable damages. I am also excited to try this out.
